Mithila Palkar (born 11 January 1993) is an Indian actress best known for her roles in the television shows Girl in the City and Little Things on Netflix. And the upcoming movie Tribhanga 2021.

Palkar was born into a Marathi family on January 11, 1993. She and her sister lived in Vasai with their parents at first, but due to travel inconveniences, they later moved to Dadar with her maternal grandparents.
Her grandfather initially disapproved of her choice to act because she comes from a family of no actors. Her sister is a neuroscientist with a PhD who lives in Los Angeles.

Palkar made his acting debut in an inter-school drama competition when he was in Class VII. Palkar age 28 years old (in 2021).
She admits to being a “nerd,” but during her time at IES’s Modern English School in Dadar, she was still involved in drama, dancing, and singing.
She studied science in high school but later decided to pursue a Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) at MMK College in Bandra in order to work in film and theater.
Palkar gave her first audition to Quasar Padamsee of Quasar Theatre Productions after graduating in 2013. (QTP). Despite the fact that her audition did not land her the part, Quasar hired her backstage to manage their theatre festival, Thespo.

Mithila Palkar Career
Palkar Marathi rendition of the “cup song” catapulted her to fame in March 2016. Palkar made her acting debut in the short film Majha Honeymoon in Marathi in 2014.
Katti Batti, directed by Nikhil Advani, was her first Bollywood film. She starred in the 2018 film Karwaan as a lead.
Her first break in the Indian film industry came in June 2014, when she was cast as Imran Khan’s sister in Katti Batti after a successful audition.
Despite the fact that the film did not perform well, she was noticed and was offered roles in Maggi commercials, Tata Tea and Zomato.
Palkar shot to fame in March 2016 after releasing her own version of the “cup song,” which was inspired by Anna Kendrick’s cup song from Pitch Perfect.

Meanwhile, Palkar was asked to audition for Filter Copy’s latest satire show News Darshan on YouTube by Dhruv Sehgal, whom she met at Thespo (QTP’s annual theatre festival). Not only did she pass the audition, but she also went on to star in her first web series, Girl in the City, in 2016.

Palkar made her Marathi film debut the following year in Muramba, alongside Amey Wagh. Palkar made her acting debut in the Hindi film Karwaan in 2018, alongside Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan, and Kriti Kharbanda. The movie released on 3 August 2018.
In February 2018, Palkar was named to Forbes India’s Forbes 30 Under 30 list of young achievers.
In 2019, she starred in Sachin Yardi’s Netflix original film Chopsticks. She portrayed an insecure girl named Nirma (after the washing powder brand) whose life is turned upside down when she meets a con man played by Abhay Deol.
She later starred alongside Dhruv Sehgal in Taco Bell’s #TheCheesyPull digital advertisement for their new product Quesalupa (a chalupa-quesadilla hybrid packed with cheese).
Palkar’s next project is the Netflix film Tribhanga, which stars Tanvi Azmi and Kajol and is directed by Renuka Shahane[31]. Filming for the film started in October of this year. She was named to Entrepreneur India’s 35 Under 35 list in 2020. Tribhanga 2021 is an upcoming film.
