Actress Nerea worked as a nurse at the Hospital Clnico de Santiago de Compostela, and she also dabbled in acting in films and theater.
She made his film debut at the age of sixteen, in 1997, in the Galician director Xavier Bermdez’s film Nena, with whom he collaborated again in 2008 in Rafael.
In 2009, he had his first significant appearance on television, in Matalobos, which aired on Televisión de Galicia. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that he rose to prominence as a result of his role in the Antena 3 series The Time Between Seams, based on the novel by Mara Dueas.
She appeared in the film La isla minim in 2014, playing the role of Roco. The Goya Award for Best New Actress was given to her for her performance.
In the year 2020, she appears as one of the protagonists in Paula Cons’ film The Island of Lies, in which she retells the fictionalized story of three heroines who sacrificed their lives to save the passengers of the “Santa Isabel,” a ship bound for Argentina that sank off the coast of Sálvora in Galicia.
