This marked her first paid animal job. Subsequently, she worked at an animal farm caring for rabbits, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, and cows.
She started her animal studies without a clear idea of her future path. Although she had ruled out becoming a vet, recognizing that working with animals as patients wasn’t her calling, she knew she wanted to make a hands-on impact and form connections with animals. She identified herself as an animal carer at heart, but the specifics of her future remained uncertain.
Throughout her education, she cherished the camaraderie of her classmates and normal student life, despite the occasional dislike for subjects like microbiology. It was during her final and most extended internship that her life took a significant turn. She had the opportunity to travel to Africa and work with indigenous wildlife, an experience made possible by her supportive mother. This transformative journey not only helped her discover her passion but also led her to her true calling and spiritual home.
Spending her internship in Namibia focusing on African wildlife rehabilitation, she gained valuable insight into this fulfilling career path. It was the unforgettable moment of releasing her first cheetah back into the wild that solidified her decision. With newfound clarity, she knew precisely what she wanted to dedicate her life to.
Now, she manages her own farm and rehabilitation center, emphasizing the ultimate goal of releasing animals back into their natural habitats. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and wildlife in her daily life, she works tirelessly to nurture and expand her sanctuary.
